undodgeable cross slash (prolly fixed), beam lights being spammed until you're a goner (prolly fixed)
i haven't play the patched one but first impression is everything and for me it was prolly the same quality as that Ogre's Butt from DARK SOULS 2
Lorewise, I feel it is implied that, when we fight Promised Consort, we are not Elden Lord yet, as Miquella adresses us as "aspiring Lord of the Old Order" - which to me means, we aren't Elden Lord yet, but we aspire to be. So having some sort of "The End" screen (just an example) would be a bit out of place, because we aren't finished yet. Of course, most people who fight PC now, already killed Elden Beast, so I can see why that would feel off.
But in the end, it's a bit like Ariandel and Ringed City in Dark Souls 3, they are extensions to the story, but not actually part of the base game story, as in, you can do well without playing them (not saying you should, especially Ringed City is fantastic). It's similar here.
Recently i've been fighting them a lot, and i grew to like it, feels like an S tier now. However, i would've still expected more, Miquella should've been more active and a third phase was a must imo.
But still it is Radahn again, Godwyn would be more fitting lorewise and would be more exciting to fight gameplaywise i think. All in all, i'd expect more from ER's ending; however this if what we have and i'm trying to enjoy it
Only complaint is because his poise meter resets so quickly, and he likes to fly away or do attacks that you have to run from, it's unreasonably hard to poise break him. Which is good for the tone of the fight, I guess, but mixing in charge attacks and looking for the poise break is where many of the other bosses really shine. I ended up swapping out the big hammer I used on most of the DLC bosses for standard anklechopping, in an ideal world that wouldn't have felt necessary even if he had high-but-not-impossible poise.
here is a pretty good video on every change, its probably one of the best i've seen talking about it

Tried the fight for a few hours before it was patched and gave up because I wasn't having a good time.
Phase 1 is fine.
Phase 2 is awful because the entire thing is FULL of eye melting particle spam. The entire fight is one big slog of waiting out 60 second long combos and hitting the boss once.
Except you die if the boss hits you with anything in phase 2.
The boss will just spam his attack chains and there's nothing you can do about it because he has infinite poise. It's everything bad about Elden Ring's "wait your turn" boss design cranked to 11.
It's unforgiving to the point of being un-fun for me. It's a real shame that they ended an otherwise amazing experience with such an awful boss.
Every frame change they've done except removing cross slash's frame trap was totally unnecessary imo. Lack of punish windows was the color of this fight for sure, i wish it had stayed that way.
I'm thinking maybe it was unfair for colossal weapon class users, because they actually buffed their attack speeds of the first hit. Maybe they lacked so many punish windows. With the weapon buffs consort would be one of a kind boss. I wish they never have done those changes.
