Carian build

this is more just a general ask. i plan to make a build using carian stuff, going up to 67 intelligence cause i'm gonna use the stargazer heirloom for 5 more intelligence to have the 70/72 for all 3 moons (depending on which i wanna equip at the moment). but, because i wanna use both the carian knight's sword and carian thrusting sword, i'm trying to figure between dex and strength. using a build calculator, there's only a few points of difference between the two stats. would dexterity be better to go, for cast speed? cause i do plan to have the carian regal staff, but i'm gonna be more sword and board and likely using the thrusting sword for casting

of course, it makes more sense to pump dexterity, if you take a value of 40 units, then with the Radagon mascot you will have 70 spiral dexterity, and the fastest caste.

If you are focused on more caster orientated then go with dex because of the faster cast speed.if you want to focus more on melee on trading hits then go str as it buffs your physical defense.

well, the build is sword and board, but given how well you can weave the melee sorceries in with the thrusting sword, i was gonna have it utilize those, the glintblades, and some other more carian school sorceries

Then you'll need the dex for the cast speed.otherwise enemy likely gonna interupt your casts,especially if you try in melee range.Enemies recover at different rates from parry.Some faster than others.

alright. thought i'd ask here cause i saw that, when going either 40 strength or 40 dex, there was only about a 10 point AR difference on the Carian Knight Sword. Hence why i thought maybe dex would be better for casting speed
