Palace Approach Road Ledge site still works great. By Mohg's area

That level is fine, you will quickly gain a lot of runes in DLC anyway.

Just remember to grab and level up Scadutree level.
Once you have Scadutree level around 10 difficulty is similar to base game.

I can drop you some runes, level 126 should be good for dlc though, you don't wanna be too high level, there are scadutree fragments in dlc that are much better than leveling
Palace approach road, use a bow and shoot the giant bird across the chasm. if you equip gold scarab you can get 26k+ every 10 seconds. just rest at grace and repeat

It's faster and more efficient by just killing the Albinaurics with a big aoe. Sacred Relic Sword (assuming OP has killed the final boss) and Starscourge GS have good aoe for this. OP might need to respec if those weapons are unusable though.
I've read that is 150 the level number recommended to start the DLC.:stress:

Most people do recommend that level, but it's more than possible to have a good time at lower levels. I recommend finishing the base game first, and killing Malenia. She's good practice for the DLC. If you can kill her, you're definitely ready.

Then grind those runes. Why ask a question if you're just going to ignore the answers?

Most of the bosses in the DLC are optional so you can just wander around collecting scadu fragments if they're too hard for you. There's a way to skip Rellana and get a lot more of them by taking the spiritspring to fort reprimand. then jump off the side and go north.

I'll ditto that the 150 is pretty arbitrary. If you feel underleveled fighting bosses in the DLC, the basic enemies drop huge amounts of runes, so you'll be best off just exploring the new areas for a little longer. As long as you have decent Vigor, levels don't really matter as much as people tend to throw around. Equipment is much more of a deciding factor honestly.

Right in the area where you enter the dlc. There's a site of grace I think the most south one near a cliff with one of those giant crows nearby, you can shoot the crow across the abyss from that site of grace with a bow and it will fall to its death, and quickly rest and repeat. It will give you like 100k souls every 1-2 minutes.
