A lot of people do,can be a lot of things,u need to enable cross region ,try turn off voice chat or on sometimes that fixes it
Use Furlcalling Finger Remedy twice to reset the summoning system, check if game is updated to latest version , restart game,it happens to everyone,If you were in rest mode, restart your system. FromSoft games not like rest mode, repair game files etc or reinstall..

Hey there, it’s a bug going on still - " A connection error occurred. Return to title menu. " Rename of an "inappropriate activity detected" bug, it's triggering by Easy-Anti-Cheat EOS, apparently they still trying to fix it (after DLC release they post it on the patch notes).
My theory is because of the firewall of China, remember when DLC was up, most negative revies was from China? It’s because the EAC was coded to go through a firewall and it broke something in authorization for the others (in EAC) everyone starting having this problem, long story short they still not figure it out… what went wrong… I think they rush it… over all nothing we can do, it on they end.

this is more of a bandage solution than an actual fix. As even if doing this can reduce the odds of the bug triggering, it will eventually trigger and continue to trigger. Something after a while of multiplayer play just keeps breaking and causing anticheat to false flag it as exploiting. I notice the odds of the bug activating increase dramatically if the game crashed (which badly synergizes with the point Shadow of the Erdtree is currently quite a bit more unstable than base Elden Ring and thus crashing/freezing is sadly common) or needs to be closed due to freezing to reboot :er_sad:
