I can suggest some preliminary actions before someone more skilled coughs up a cure.
If there are any pending updates, update your system. I know, it sucks and there's the chance of some issue arising from that step, but all in all when Microsoft wants you to update, after a week or so you will start get glitches, then freezes, then your most used apps will start getting problematic. I know this seems irrelevant, but 90% of every tech problem I deal with is a result of 1. A pending system update or simply putting it off for too long, and/or 2. Having Fast Start-up enabled which prevents your system from actually restarting, which is crucial to a healthy system.
I just wanted to mention those two things in case it could help or possibly help in the future for you or anyone else reading.
With the amount of information I have, I would make 2 suggestions before we escalate:
1. Once updates and maintenance is checked, start up the game, load your character and once it loads, exit the game properly. That way you close it out correctly. Make sure your files are backed up and then uninstall the game. Restart your computer after uninstalling and installing. RESTART, not TURN OFF and ON. Restarting hardware after uninstalling and installing and just after a period of time really does encourage a robust system.
If that doesn't work, logon to another account or create another administrator sign in and try launching and using the software from that account.
Keep me updated. I can see this through with you until you get it going if you're open to more suggestions. Good day.

I wanted to add that i have updated my drivers and reinstalled the game already.
have you a third party antivirus tool ?
basically this error log is a memory overflow problem, this can be caused by a third party antivirus tool, tools like process lasso, damaged eac installation, wrong setup of pagefiles, faulty RAM and faulty CPU.
so the way would be to check each of the possible causes.
the problem you have starts before elden ring is even started
start_protected_game.exe is EAC
add me and we check the things needed to narrow it down
24h2 should not install on systems with eac (easy anti cheat) installed, but you can install windows and then install a game with eac.
A solution to this is downgrading to 23h2. Or just wait for a game update.
you can check your Windows version in the update options, or
open "system information" if you push the windows key and seach for "syst" it should show up
It will open on "System Summary"
On the right hand side the first line is OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Home/Pro whatever you have
The second line is either
10.0.22631 for 23H2
10.0.26100 for 24H2
