makes me wonder what you done to your windows because this feature is standard activated and you have to do some things to constantly deactivate it
open a command prompt as administrator and run this command
bcdedit /set nointegritychecks off
The boot configuration data store could not be opened.
Access is denied.
This is what I get when I tried entering that command. Is there anything else. Also Im running windows 10.
you have to open the command prompt as administrator
right click at the command prompt and run as administrator
Error Code: 30007 (Easy Anti-Cheat cannot run if Driver Signature Enforcement has been disabled)
When I tried the methods explained on; https://signmycode.com/resources/how-to-enable-and-disable-driver-signature-enforcement, I was still confused because I'm not sure whether or not this is due to having the setting set to on or off since it is so confusing that the setting is written enabled for off and disabled for on. I had attempted Method 2. Are you certain that the Driver Configuration Signature needs to set to disabled? Because I had never disabled it. This just happened when I returned from being away for a while and seems to be either from updating Video Drivers or some other reason.
I even ran bcdedit to make sure it showed "Yes." Might you be able to think of any other possible reason or solution? Because I've already tried all I can find.
this option has to be set to off because the parameter is called nointegritychecks.
if the problem does not go away there are two options left.
your windows has a infection with a malware or the eac installation is faulty.
the way would be to run a full system check and a eac reinstall.
run a fully system check/repair
open command prompt as administrator
run this command
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
After this is finished
Sfc /scannow
Repair the c++ redistributables
https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe
https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
do a clean reinstall of eac
delete the 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' folder in C:\Program Files (x86)
then Use Registry Editor to delete all keys and values that had 'EasyAntiCheat_EOS' to do this search up "REGEDIT" in search.
right-click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Find and look up the term EasyAntiCheat_EOS and delete the whole folder with this name on the left side, search again because there are more of this folder.
then go into elden ring's game files in the game installation folder
delete the easyanticheat folder, verify gamefiles to restore the folder fresh
reboot windows
then go into elden ring's game files in the installation folder and navigate to easyanticheat folder and click on the install_easyanticheat_eos_setup
a prompt will pop up and hit enter
Also this only happens when I run games through the Steam Library as I explained. Would it be a good idea to reinstall Steam and will I have to reinstall my games?
-Actually I tried running it a second time and it ran, thanks man. This time it says "Unable to run in online mode," and it took a while to close when I quit the game. Ill let you know if this changes.
this problem has nothing to do with steam, something with your windows is suspicious i do not think a fresh steam installation would solve all your problems (it is not normal to not be able to delete the EAC registry entries).
add me i would like to check your system deeper with you together.
if it works now but you are unable to connect to online there could be more problems on your system than a faulty eac installation.
