how do you get to the very top of it to get on top of the higher cliff part? there another area up there but can'r get to it

First you explore Church District of Shadow keep. Then you go through Shadow Keep using the Back Section entrance, then climb up to the Loft, from the Loft go across the huge room using scaffoldings with bats and drop down to get out. There, take a lift to Shadow Keep Back Gate. Near a gate there will be a room that has a blessing and a statue. Perform O, Mother gesture before the statue (you can get the gesture in the Bonny Village, north of the village itself under a lonely tree), statue will open a door to new area. This is the elevated area you seek. Explore it and find series of drop-downs right above Rabbath's rise. Voila!

Commander Gaius can be left alive and well, his and his boar's deaths are not required. He is the boss in the adjacent room.

The statue of Marika before you enter his arena (it has a scadu blessing). Ensure you get the "O Mother" gesture near Bony village. Use it in-front of the statue and welcome to the Hinterlands!. Get ready to kill two old friends.

After that go to the village, explore it and loot the big brother of the holy negation talismans (inside a hollow tree with a Marika statue inside). Now check the cliff until you spot Rabbath rise, eventually you will find a way to go down with Torrent. Finally you will be able to enter the top of the tower and thats it.

Once inside jump down to get the bell to buy ammo for the Rabbath bazooka, remember the puppet location for later. She can be used to upgrade a summon.
