You already answered yourself with the first half, invasions are opt-in for Sco-op
you can invade.
you can open your game to be invaded.
pog
- Harassing dev for refusing cooperation with DEI corp
- Promoting games with either black character or girl with colored short haired obsessed with superman power
- Defaming underprice game with great values because AAA corp like blizz ubisheet paid them to do so
To be fair, invasions in seamless coop are ACTIVATED by default. You have to open the .ini anyways to setup a password for coop sessions (invasions will happen, even if the invader does not know your coop password) or seamless coop won't even start.
And the very first option in that .ini is to allow invasions. This line reads "allow_invaders = 1" by default.
So if you want to be super precise, invasions are opt-out for seamless coop.
you can turn it off in the options file
dont recommend thou since anticheat is off high chance to meet a cheater
