Best mid to late game smoldering butterfly farm?

So I've been using the spot in Limgrave just NE of the Warmasters shack since it takes me on a circuit that lets me farm root resin as well as smoldering butterflies, but I was wondering if there is a better location to farm them? I know there is another spot in Altus Plateau NE of the "Outer Wall Phantom Tree" site of grace, but the distance required to run over there to farm the butterflies is about the same as the one in Limgrave.

Does anyone have better suggestions for places to farm? I find myself using fire grease pretty often during my run.

I don't really grind those often, but I do remember that the Site of Grace at the northernmost tip of Liurnia, just before you enter the Ruin-Strewn Precipice sub-area, has a smoldering butterfly or two literally a foot from the grace hovering around a brazier. You don't even need to move, just stand up and sit down.

Oh you mean the one at the fire pit, yeah I know which one you're talking about.

Normally just use the church where the godslayer noble is. Take the cage down to get that group of slugs, then head up into the manor cliffside to get the ones up there.

So I found a potential spot that you can farm not only Smoldering butterflies, but also Thin Beast bones. It's not exactly the most efficient place to farm, I think I still get more overall in the Limgrave farming spot, but if you use the bones, it's not too bad a spot to kill two birds with one stone.
