I'm slightly worried people who pick the Golden Seed will be at an advantage? Or do we think people who don't pick it will have one more available at some point in their game?

It'll likely only be an early game advantage. If it's anything like Souls, then we'll have access to just as many "estus shards" as anyone else who chooses this starting gift. The same is likely true for the stonesword key. But this is just speculation in good faith.

I don’t know what some of those things actually do so I hope the game explains some of those terms before forcing me to decide. Otherwise I’ll grab what May provide randomness.

I need to experiment with gravity.
Gravity is pretty much nonexistent. It's there, but it needs to be a very, very long fall for you to die from it.

BOILED PRAWN HECK YEAH!

But seriously if the Golden Seed is anything like the estus flask upgrades or gourd seeds in Sekiro it seems like that would be the most useful option here?

Also how do spirit summons work? If you have the ashes they are reusable or a consumable item?

Depends. Are spirit summons on time use? If not, that one. If so, stonesword key.

That's what they want you to think. Maybe its true purpose can be found in elden ring.

Even if it does not have a use they should still include it just as a nod to Dark Souls

To be honest I kind of like the aspects of games that are put there purely to troll people like the Diablo 2 gem button or the hidden truck in Pokemon Blue/Red, gets the imagination of the fans running wild and theories start coming out, then other people play on these peoples imaginations and continue the trolling by claiming they know how to unlock the secret or that they know it's secret use.

Just starts out as something really simple then it becomes a far bigger thing than it originally was supposed to be, can't tell you how many times I tried to move that damn truck to get the Mew that was reportedly hidden underneath.
