Big thing is no one wants to play a game on 30 fps on pc which is ps4 quality - so the 1060 is the choice. Still its approaching 6 years of age so no surprises there
Unlikely. Could be something to do with new security features on win 11 and the recent RCE drama. But still, we'll see.
Yeah don't worry I was just expanding on that point that it can be upgraded on some laptops. It's not obvious that you can on a laptop as often ram is just soldered in with no expansion slots. But if you can upgrade and can afford it, it's worth considering.
GhostWire: Tokyo Steam page has 12gb ram with a 1060 6gb as minimum.
It is a 20gb game!
Whether you hate it or not the pc gaming market is highly dependant on mid to low grade PCs for sales. Everyone on the forum having their 3080 TIs does not represent the consumer base at large.
12GB is such a weird number for a gaming rig and by extension for minimum or recommended specs.
Most PC,s have 8,16 or 32GB So why not state 16GB.
