Pc requirements are still not specified for this game.
This is a bit concerning.

Logic says this game will need the equivalent hardware of a PS5 (considering the PC version is a good port) to run max settings 60 fps @ native 1440p. So a 3700X or equivalent with balanced single and multi core performance, a decent NVMe, 16 GB of fast RAM and a GPU along the lines of a 2080.

Riding around highly detailed, dense and complex areas around the open world involves a lot of asset streaming and unpacking in real time on the CPU just to keep the GPU buffer updated. The PS5 has an advantage here with dedicated hardware to unpack assets, high-speed custom storage and a shared RAM pool.

I can totally see a lot of threads mentioning "stuttering" on launch day, let's hope I'm 100% wrong!
I don't see any logic supporting that. Maybe on the recommended front?

I was able to beat ds3 on a ryzen 5 2400g with a stable enough frame rate for online play.

I don't think that will be possible in elden ring, but I see no indication that it's going to be a massive leap in min requirements. It is going to have higher system requirements but nothing absurd.

If you type in Elden Ring system requirements into Google, it comes up with some tech websites who give you a pretty good idea of what to expect, out of interest, what is your build? I might be able to give you an idea of if you can run it or not.

And those would be false requirements.

Every one of those sites with Elden Ring requirements is just using RDR2 requirements as a placeholder. We just need the official requirements and eac info. I can't think of any other big release that held off showing system requirements this close to release.

Well the requirements on various websites do say similar things, but I'm not saying it IS, I'm just saying that it's a good ballpark, it's certainly never failed me before.

just because a handful of people post info that seems real doesn't make it so.

there was network test didn't none of those blessed people didn't do any benchmarks? never really find "system requirements" on steam page that helpful

There are no official requirements. These sites are all regurgitating the RDR2 requirements as someone has observed. It's not helpful for anyone to be posting fake specs with the illusion of being real because this isn't any more meaningful than what any one else can suggest.

That's cool and all man, I was just offering some info I found related to the subject, I'm unsure why this triggers you.
