They look cool AF and have some serious map AoE fire spells..but fight them is a chore
The base game had the same issue with dragon fights. They all look cool, but are a slog to fight.
This "strategy" makes most of the attacks these two abilities. Sometimes you'll get the homing rain of fire ability at which point jump sprint away while curving along the back of the Furnace Golem and it won't do it's magma kick.
Pretty boring, but then it'll eventually fall and you can riposte it, then immediately sprint to where you can see top of it's "brazier" and chuck a Hefty Fire Pot before it gets up.
Every method is boring but this is what I used. I don't know what they were thinking when they designed this boss, but I'm tired of fighting the legs of large enemies.
They aren't really a boss either, since no boss health bar. They are just a tedious enemy to fight that you just kill for the tears.
Personally I wasn't even aware that throwing things inside the basket would deal more damage so I wouldn't know. Both the actual and the poise damage were very good in my opinion though
