So unusable that i first tried every boss except radahn with it in the DLC
lol
its still massivly op
Well, some are better than others, Some are OP. You obviously don’t understand how they work the only work in certain spots. In the best spot to use them is versus bosses
Edit: this was done with Siri So excuse the mistakes
If you are moving through the open world, some areas allow Spirit Ash and some don't. If there is a white gravestone in the lower left corner of the screen, Spirit Ash is usable in that area. If it goes away while you move, then the Spirit Ash will also leave shortly thereafter.
If you are talking about during fights, some Spirit Ashes look great, on paper, but they have a significant flaw. They are not aggressive and so don't move to contact with the enemy.
Banished Knight Engvall is like that. He will kind of just hang around until he takes a hit. Then he might tank a bit. But if the target is moving fast and far, he will just stand around, playing with his giant pole. That behavior is especially apparent if the Boss goes into phase 2 completely changed. That was a VERY nasty surprise when I fought Maliketh. At that point, I put Engvall in the barn and brought out Oleg and leveled him up. Much more aggressive and kept Maliketh quite engaged. :)
So, it might not be that the Spirit Ash you are using is actually getting 'stuck'.
