So time to whip out your Mimic Tear +10, load up Ekzykes Decay and your favourite Triple-Status Antspur Rapier and get spamming.
The stronger the ash of war the better for the weapon choice.
Basically this is how you going to fight:
1. Dodge the first charge and then summon mimic
2. Heal back and wait for mimic to draw aggro
3. Use your ash of war/ spell once
4. Hold up your shield until mimic draw the aggro again
5. Use your ash of war/ spell once
Repeat until the fight ends, easy and simple as that.
With this stret, even the most unskilled players should beat Radahn in 1~2 hr, provided you have decent amount of blessing level.
With just great shield and no mimic, the fight is still very challenging though cuz he has lots of unblockable attacks / chip damage, and insane stamina damage.
Fingerprint Greatshield OR Verdigris Greatshield. Verdigris has higher guard boost, so less stamina management, but its holy resistance is lower. I think Verdigris is better overall though. If going with Fingerprint, consider bringing some Shield Grease to buff up its guard boost.
Weapons wise, I recommend Blood Sword Lance, 125 blood loss buildup on a pokey weapon with a mid-high AR, it's pretty insane, the first phase was over in like 15 seconds. Some people prefer Blood Antspur Rapier, as it inflicts both rot and bleed, but its AR is crap and the bleed is only 83, so I'm not sure if the math really works out in its favor.
Armor: Tree Sentinel set (the fabulous one, not malformed).
Talismans: Greatshield, Golden Braid, Dragoncrest Greatshield, Great-Jar's Arsenal (to equip all of the above)
Strategy: hold L1 and press R1 when the boss is within range. Stop pressing R1 when the stamina bar gets low. The only attack you need to dodge is the grab, but it's pretty heavily telegraphed.
Got him after 2 attempts. Felt a bit cheap, but thats what I asked for :D
I already had the sword lance, but with carian sovereignty. Rerolled from a mage/faith build, to a strength/arcane build, infused the sword lance with blood tax, and used the Verdigris shield to cower behind. Worked perfectly ! :D
Or you could just summon some ppl, and skip wasting time for re-rolling your entire build just for streamer build.
Add the greatshield talisman, the greater stamina talisman, marikas seal and the erdtree plus 2 Talisman.
I could actually take his 5 hit attack without damage. You still have to avoid the other stuff but it did make it possible.
I tried summoning twice. They added health to the boss and both guys died early in phase 2.
Phase 1 was really no problem.
