Welcome back, Parrying Dagger
The single most shafted weapon in Dark Souls 3. Pretty much was useless as off hand weapon there - because it couldn't attack, only block, at which point buckler was just a direct upgrade.

But now it finally works as it should, and you can even power stance it with other daggers for extra utility and spice of playstyle. Redemption at last.

The best part is any regular dagger can be a parrying dagger, good for the two daggers that count as a different weapon type for powerstancing.

That reminds me... I've never tried a parry-based playstyle in Elden Ring.
I completed Dark Souls 3 with a Parry build just for the lulz once, but I've not tried it with Elden Ring... probably because I love flashy spells and AoWs too much.

It's alright. I managed to parry Margit once (no riposte though), omens are easy to read and most surprisingly so far - you can parry the grafted spiders, which counters them to hell.

IDK about that, in Elden Ring Carian Retaliation and Golden Parry are the best ways to parry, and they can only be put on small and medium shields (yes, Elden Ring is the sole Souls game where a medium shield is one of the best parry tools).
