As a invader its your job to make sure people like this are punished by any means. With the proper build this can be done.
If you dont enjoy watching wholesome "Sunbroing" cooperation in the forums....go and read something else? Just plain and simple my dude.
Keep the help threads coming you....PEOPLE! Specially late expansion bosses like the Angry sunflower (was a blast to help a fellow tarnished a few days ago) or discount Ebrietas!.....I never saw a finger mommy help thread.
Goodbye, OP.
Even better, ditch the current legacy D&D character building system in favor of a more meaningful and complete character creator where you already start your game with all your character talents refined, with in world progression being just details that can be easily deducted in summon calculations.
The Souls community's gotten way too vitriolic, everybody hates everybody, it's awful.
Name one single aspect those people might be missing if they do play coop.
Maybe triggering yourself a stroke due to extreme stress?
Growl in frustration for hours, smacking your head against a boss for hours?
Oh, now i do get it... the lingering dread you aren't safe anywhere, that you're some kind of survivor with dwindling sanity? Nobody got time for that, dude
BUT HOW WOULD YOU KNOW THAT? Do you... *gasp* invade and watch them?
On a more serious note, there are 2 reasons. First off, if you have a character that is say lvl 200 and your frien is just starting the game, how would you coop without lvl difference? Not everyone has a character in every lelel range. Secondly, a high-level character has better chances against invaders, who are mostly sweaty twinks with high-end gear at these low levels. I hope I explained!
Depends. Elden Ring is a long game even if you know what you're doing and it can take forever for a new player to the game to catch up to their friends that are already at endgame. Or perhaps playing a power fantasy of steamrolling encounters with endgame spells is what people find fun. Perhaps they're invested in Fashionsouls and the perfect (tm) weapon to complement their outfit is one of those nothing-swords you find in endgame areas like Elphiel or Farum Azula.
There's lots of ways to define what is or isn't fun, and difficult or challenging encounters are only one way.
