everyone requires the game to be offline or have EAC disabled.
More souls games should have it.
hey fam your comment didn't add anything to the thread so maybe next time just don't say anything
If OP's concerned for something as simple as a death counter, for some dark reasons, he can track them on a piece of paper.
What's the deal if OP dies, just saying, 14 times to Margit? or 720 times to Malenia? or 12 to Mohg?
Hey man, that’s like, your opinion. Yeah actually I agree. We should get rid of calculators too. I can’t believe people would prefer those over using abacus. While we’re on the subject, I think all vehicles should be dismantled. It doesn’t matter if something is more convenient, everyone should just walk, and if you need to cross an ocean, how about swimming and not lazily using a boat!!
Tf do you mean “dark reasons”? Is he going to start a cursed ritual simply by knowing how many times he’s lost to a boss? With this vein of logic, fps games don’t need to count how many bullets you have left or how many kills, deaths, assists, or really any statistic because you can “just track them with paper”. Incredible take, really.
Why are you being so overly defensive over something so trivial? Is it really this important to track how many times you die, in a game where death is the most recurring event?
Let's say someone, for example, died 10 times to Margit... What's the important information here? Are those 10 deaths "way too much"? If so, according to whom? Maybe a self-imposed standard? Maybe some rando on the web?
Let's take DS2's whole-world death stats... knowing players died a whole total of 987682374284 times... what's the real meaning of that information? The answer is Nothing.
Things could become interesting only if those stats would say extended informations (some examples):
1. failed dodge rolls
2. failed parries
3. backstabs/repostes
4. foe's own special move
5. foe's basic attack
6. death numbers, by boss, by boss phase
7 many more...
You don't actually know what "nobody" means, do you?
Classic example of "Stop catering to your own needs and cater to mine instead" commenter.
