If you have to post a thread like this one mention your NG....if we are talking about a 0 with 200 RL you overleveled the expansion, grats.
Also this
Here you have a wholesome award my dude. THE REAL DEAL! Blind, scared, confussed and ONESHOTED! Day 1 Shadow of the Erdtree "blind" experience.
But I will say, that I think to a degree it depends on your level when you enter the DLC. I think most folks jump in at roughly 100-120. I didn't hit level 200ish until right at the end of the DLC.
Blabla..
If one jump into the dlc ng+X its their fault and not "the game to difficult!!11"
Further the buff in the patch is nearly not noticible.
And again for the blind - i didnt follow guides for the fragments. Why should it? They are obviously marked with big crosses of light.
Git gud is the only solution here.
Possible. But thats still not the games fault. If your level is to low.. its to low. So level up... It was communicated as an endgame area. If you do all stuff the main game has to offer you are easy lvl 180 before elden beast. (Without any rune farm)
Oh, I'm not blaming the game at all. I just don't think reaching level 180 for end game is atypical of most players, myself included, unless they just pour runes into levels. A lot of my runes go into buying consumables, crafting items, abilities, etc. Heck, on most play throughs and in my most recent DLC playthrough, I didn't even get to level 150.
Most of the major meta sources all tend to agree that all end game areas are roughly around 110-120 in terms of difficulty. 150+ is a bit overkill.
Oh now i get it....(i got it before but now its even more clear). Tell me you are trying to farm awards without telling me this is a bait thread ( who knows maybe im just wrong).
Well i think im done here and no, no awards from my part!
Now....PEOPLE....coming to the forums and post "DID YOU GUYS STRUGGLED WITH SOME EXPANSION CONTENT? LULZ GIT GUD I ONESHOTED EVERYTHING!1" can come as facetious.....congratulations for being the best Elden Ring player of the Milky way in your mind but meh.....just a bit of class.
Goodbye, OP. Have fun being four shoted in the Shadowlands.
I played through twice and was arround 180 each time. But im one of those that kill every monster at last one time before running through.
I entered the dlc with lvl 193 and im 220 now. You get tons of runes in the dlc.
Normal people play RL125.
You have 100 level more.
But, I agree. DLC is not so this difficult.
Capslock child... I never said i oneshotted anything. Stucked for 2hours at rellana for example.
Im pretty bad at souls likes and even if can do okish in the dlc.
So GIT GUD
Basically for every playthrough after your initial playthrough the dlc is scaled based on the idea you already have all 20 blessing levels
So if you were unlucky enough to start on ng+5 like me you were getting oneshot by basic enemies in belurat and were in for a brutal start to the new dlc until you got 15ish shadowtree fragments
the dlc isnt too difficult but i do think the skibidi tree blessings were kinda a cop out for difficulty when the previous games dlcs were just fine.
"Normal people" ...
Who told you to stop leveling?
I didnt farm for runes and ended up with this level (193) after Elden Beast.
Second run was 180 after Elden Beast.
Its normal for me. Why arent you lvl 180+? Are you not normal?
No offense.. but hope you get my point.
