Right now it's backhand blades with swift slash or blind spot. Then it's the spread crossbow and night claws.
it gets buffed from alexander talisman godfrey the magma one you heal 10% hp on a hit from it and it has really good scaaling for all around. Backhand is good if you play into the bleed but have less reach and require a bit better set up to use
night claws are really good the ash of war is great but blasphemous can do more dmg well being safer
Blasphemous Blade can take out Malenia solo with little to no effort
Properly used, it trivializes most of the base game and the DLC.
for a singular weapon, its extremely strong. Though I feel like powerstanced katanas outperform other melee weapons, good raw damage, very high bleed status, high synergy with mimic, and they lack actual downsides.
As for spells, its easily the impenetrable thorns spell and there's legitimately no contest. It far outclasses any spell in the entire game for pve, and that also goes among any weapons. Cheap cost, very far range, not too slow for its power, huge hitbox like an aoe shotgun, extremely high bleed (insanely high), and I can only describe its damage as reality breaking.
Particularly up close, where it can hit 9x....
You could halve its total damage and it still would be as insane. It will get nerfed heavily whenever From gets around to it. The damage that spell can do is not comparable to anything else in the game, nothing approaches it even remotely.
Blashpemous Blade by a billion miles. Ranged, hacks off tons of damage and heals you. It's the closest you can get to a cheat code.
Stand in the corner and mash L2 till you win, don't need to dodge, don't need to move, don't need to heal, just enter the fog gate, mash it till the win screen appears. Makes elden ring so easy a toddler can beat radahn with it.
