Leveling past 150
Is leveling up past 150 it absolutely necessary to beat the DLC without it being almost impossible? I've heard that pvp and other things get a little messed up if you get past the 150 level peak.

i started dlc at rl 150 and pve is stupidly easy at that level

you dont even need to be 150 to beat the dlc, so no?

the 150 meta level is just to ensure its active multiplayer, you can choose to be higher/lower at your own whims.

it's not necessary at all, just collect the scooby doo fragments if you don't want to

i have a lvl 200 mage and get plenty of coop summons and invasions im pretty sure anywhere from 125-200 is safe

1. Not necessary but if you find the dlc hard, you are totally to blamed for this restriction.
2. Idk why ppl has this insane fixation of SL150 being the cap, even if they rarely pvp .
You are given so much runes to level way pass that and people choose to keep low level and then complaining about game difficulty.

I started the DLC at 135 and ended at 200. There's no shortage of PvP.

I have 8 characters all 120-200 not needed, you will have to get some seed upgrades is all. However like DS2 with this DLC I see the PVP meta ranging from 150-200 in lvl. Seamless got major updates worth looking into creates a completely separate file you can rename your sl2 to co2 I think to easily import your character data.

dude the game has been beaten Rl1 , +0 weapon , +0 sadu tree, no cheese , melee only, no parry on NG7+ ( by Seki)

what you need or what you dont need is depending on your skill.

I sadly went to 151, but supposedly that just means I can't pvp/coop players below 131.

I'm sure the dlc has pushed a medium amount of players in the community to take it to 200.

that being said, from my understanding and reading the forums ect, 150 is still the coo/pvp sweetspot

Level is irrelevant. Any end level character can do the DLC with some degree of comfort, just be aware of scadutree mechanic.

Makes almost no difference in PvE.

Nothing whatsoever changes if you go past RL150. In another 10 years, when Elden Ring is starting to be forgotten and there's a much smaller playerbase, having a dedicated level range for PvP or co-op might be helpful. As is, you will find numerous people no matter your level. It does not matter, just stop at whatever level is comfortable for you.

150 is the pvp meta. fun fact, pve is very lively after 150. After 301 it opens up all the way up to 713, and its super busy. Always signs all over, people just having fun to have fun. The pvp is hilarious because the try hards all castrated themselves by staying at 150 thinking its "challenging"
