Lorian and Lothric or Radahn and Miquella?

Lorian and Lothric by far was the better boss fight.

Hands down Lorian and Lothric, across almost every dimension - lore, story, impact, mechanics, fun factor. It was just a much more well thought out and well executed fight.

A more interesting question might be, what is the best duo-style fight in FromSoft history?

Lorian and Lothric. It was engaging, had spectacle, a decent challenge and didn't require a week off work to learn how to beat it.

The former. The piggyback strategy/motif doesn't look as good or work as well for Radahn and Miquella. Godwyn could have pulled off an engaging fight with Miquella clinging to him, and Radahn could have had his pet cat on his shoulders and rocked the world, but Radahn and Miquella together is meh.

Well I was presuming that golden boy would get revived in Mohg's body instead of Radahn, but yeah fighting the mermaid could certainly be an interesting experience.

Maybe he could start out in a similar way to Radahn, but for his second phase start bursting apart with deathblight insect vines as his soul tries to return to the void to whence it was banished by the Black Knives. I bet Fromsoft could make that work, and work well.

Lothric and Lorian by a mile. From a gameplay standpoint though, I'd say Demon in Pain & Demon From Below is the best duo boss in the series. The design is just so well thought out, I've always admired how they went the extra mile to allow you to dodge and react even if one of the bosses is off-screen.

Agreed. I also love how the Demon Prince changes subtly depending on which demon you kill first.

Everyone's least favorite tag team fight though: the Crucible Knight duo
