How did you beat Consort Radhan?
This question is for people who didn't summon (other players). did not changed their stats and weapons and kept true to their main build. Did not used shield poke or other cheese methods.
it's okay if you summoned NPC and spirit ashes. how long did it took you to beat and how many tries?
People who did use shield poke how many times did you failed before you decided to just give up and kill him that way.
I am fighting him in new game + as intelligence user and it's hard.

dual wield Nagakiba (frost) & Uchigatana (bleed), Solitude Armor, Golden Braid, Perldrake Talisman +3, Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, Lord of Blood's Exultation. with Ansbach and mimic tear as support after many many deaths.

Omen cleaver great axe, 2 of em. Bleed and jump attacks. Play was a little tradish, ( I will force in a jump attack counter, even if he also hits me/ I cant get away clean). Im surprised he has such excellent protection against jump attacks, his quick thrust or small cut always stops my jump unless he finished with his combo. Took a while to find timings around that. I had crab buff + commander's standard and physik for a lot of protection. But even then, his combos just devour hp....

I just learned that his lowest protection is pierce dmg.... really interested to see what a guts greatsword w giant hunt + spear talisman and alexander shard can do against him. Then maybe leda's chest armor for enhanced dodge poke.

I had a palladin build. Ganked him with 2 other players, not proud of it but F this boss. Ending was also ♥♥♥♥♥.
backhand blades with a summon in the second half who didnt do crap for me.Just running and dodging got lucky.
Just kept jump attacking with dual great katanas. I popped an uplifting aromatic whenever he did his meteor strike. I never use buffs in these games, that's how much this boss challenged me.
Probably took me just under 200 tries, at least 6 hours of fighting him. Hardest boss in the series easily, and I'm glad he's just hard because he's hard, and not because he has one obnoxious move like some other end game bosses I know
Pre-nerf Bloodfiends' Arm. I'm not proud to be honest, as I skipped most of phase 2's mechanics by pushing bleed procs.

I still want to learn the fight, but I've come to accept that 90% of co-op sessions has me brought in with less than 12 Scadutree Frags, making damage mitigation and dealing suboptimal. Oh well.

Odd, because that's the reason most hate his second phase. It's hard for me and others for the wrong reasons. Glad you enjoyed it though.

Almost all his attacks have a consistent way to avoid them, it's really satisfying figuring them out.
Only attacks I think are garbage are the big explosion, since you gotta start running IMMEDIATELY or you get hit, and the cross slash combo.
The second hit of that combo will just always roll catch you unless you are positioned perfectly. But at least neither of these moves outright kill you, they are hell for no hitters tho
is it just me or is using ashes in this fight kinda a detriment? its very hard to get off the summon safely bc of how radahn works
Every boss does in some form, thing is the second phase just isn't fun to learn most who even no hit and no the fight more or less say its not fun. Its like a fight going from straight forward to annoying shmup with the boss using afterimages. It's like Malenia her moves aren't hard its her life steal that isn't fun to deal with.

Alot of the DLC bosses are like this.

I think radahn and giaus (pre fix) did it the worse, at least the other ones had a safe but very strict time window to do it
For giaus you literally had to exploit the ai by hiding behind a pillar to safely get a summon off
I went with dual wielding a +25 cross naginata spear with +25 spiked spear since radahn consort is less resistant to thrusting attacks and can bleed, and this was at around rune level 200 with no summons no mimic. for talismans i had the +3 physical dr one, the one where u get more attack power after bleed, successive attack, and lastly pearldrake talisman since radahn does a considerable amount of holy dmg, magic dmg (which is his gravity attacks), and the 1 fire attack he has whichj isnt much of a threat. everything else is just roll and flask timing. flask immediately after he finishes a combo chain.
