Are you actually hitting him though?
and 55 bleed build up is pretty nothing on a slow atk like great katana as ur offensive window again dlc radahn is short and distance
if u really want to bleed him then use a fast weapon with bleed infuse
You'd have to accumulate 734 Bleed on him before he suffers his first blood loss.
That's a minimum of 14 hits with your weapon assuming his bleed buildup does not go down over time, which it constantly is.
have you played Sekiro? in sekiro you can see the enemy 'posture bar' it builds up as you parry them and decays and recovers if you back off for too long needing to make you start over.
this is the same for status build up in Elden ring. be it Poison, frost, blood, frenzy ect ect you just cant see it in Elden ring.
a boss has X amount you need to build up on them for it to burst. Consort is somewhere in the 700 range. when you aren't attacking him that bleed bar is decaying which results in even more hits to get the build up to 100%.
this is why often dual wield power stance weapon jump attacks are the go to for build up. a lot of weapons do 4 hits on jump attacks. dual wield twin-blades do 6 hits on a jump attack making the build up fast.
also every time you bleed a target the next bleed requires more build up than the last.
you can reset this by building up a bleed then building up a frostbite then back to bleed. the frostbite will reset the bleed buildup needed and vice verca.
Radahn is very weak to Scarlet Rot in phase 1.
an easy fill in option is to craft some of the Hefty status pots to throw. to get more statuses that aren't on your weps. the Hefty pots do like 400 buildup in 1 throw.
I have a bleed sword lance with 168 bleed and I did bleed just fine to C. Radahn.
If you want instant win buttons, stack on both consecutive hit talismans and the tear. You get to the highest stack with a single button press. Add on the fugly white mask and lob talisman.
I had to reload an old save on my desktop and replay the dlc with a worse weapon to gimp myself, because I was skipping entire phases of bosses due to that.
