also maybe toggle on off raytracing, and turn off automatic graphics just above raytracing.
but most likely your issue is because you use dedicated fullscreen instead of non dedicated borderless
fullscreen is not meant for alt tabbing, unless it's non dedicated/not exclusive.
And I have a dualsense, so not an issue.
as a fellow dual sense controller user, I got a question fam, does your controller also gets all wonky and unresponsive until you either turn it off or unplug it if playing wired in the pc and reconnecting it again? I have found that mine, when Im booting the game for the first time after my laptop was off, not only ER but any game I play for the first time after turning off my laptop forces me to do this, but also I have that DSX program for the dualsense running whenever I boot pc, so unsure if that could be causing it?
Also get "firmware updater for dualsense" https://controller.dl.playstation.net/controller/lang/en/fwupdater.html
The only issue I have now with dualsense, is that this week the right stick left signal started acting up, it goes randomly full max left in terms of the signal. So I'm considering buying a Hypr custom ps5 controller, but it removes the speakers and rumble (rumble can be added back), but returnal, valhalla, avatar have native haptic feedback support, which is just the speaker rumble, if you for example disable dualsense speakers, that type of rumble won't work anymore in games that support the dualsense fully, even if through xinput the vibration motor rumble works.
thanks fam, will check after work
I use borderless screen mode actually, and even if I switch to fullscreen the problem is still the same. Looking through the internet give me thoughts that it may be some USB devices problem, but I have no idea what exactly causes it.
Could be also hid drivers.
As I mentioned in the head, the problem also remains even without dualsense and using only keyboard. So dualsense seems not to be the root of the problem. But since I played last time nothing in my setup changed except the controller.
Simply go to the folder with game .exe files, and set the compatibility property "Run this program as an administrator" for both the eldenring.exe and start_protected_game.exe.
Now game works as intended, and I have many questions for EAC developers.
