Golden Hippo is a trash af boss lmao

Hands down the worst Fromsoft boss ive seen and ive beaten them all (besides whats in the DLC, Shadow Of The Erdtree of course).

The boss name is stupid af since its not even a full hippo its a PORCUPINE and a hippopotamus.

And the arena you fight in is really annoying. WAY to small.

But even though its the worst Fromsoft boss ive seen, that doesn't mean its bad. Fromsoft its just held at such a high standard that a boss like this just seems very....boring.

Just my take though.

If boring is the standard, then shouldn't the Erdtree Avatar, AKA a slightly altered Asylum Demon, take first prize? That dude has been in every single one of these games since at least Demon's Souls and not much has changed about its look or attack patterns in over 5 games.

Its not even close to the worst boss. Its boring and bad to fight yes, but the barrel has not even nearly reached the bottom.
I just fought senessax and this has to be one of the worst bosses I ever fought.

He has like a million health and his hitboxes are bad. The lightning aoe is busted and either hits your or doesn't whenever it feels like.

But if you mount up and just fight him on torrent he can barely do anything... so the fight turns into a complete snoozefest.

Metyr was much easier and a massive disappointment to all the build-up to it

Hippo is definitely worse than Covetous Demon even if it was harder lol
Random ass Hippo as a pet for Messmer, not even a Snake.

Phase 1 is legit a reskinned Sullyvahn Beast from DS3, and in DS3 it wasn't even a boss.
