Stuck I'm beginner

I somehow got to level 37 and I'm stuck. I don't know what to do. I can't get through Omen because my vigor is at a minimum, and I keep getting one-shotted. I have the same issue with the other bosses.

Vigor should be your highest stat as early game, your damage will come from weapon upgrades.

Spells flame sling/ Flame of Frenzy/ Flame Fortification

level vigor, go somewhere else and kill other bosses to get some souls.

level vigor to minimum 40 (max 60 in endgame/DLC) if you are not that good at these games. you will notice a big difference.

as mentioned before, weapon upgrades do most of the damage at the beginning.

Does vigor gives me only HP ? Or Deff and resistance as well?

Having 20 vigor would already help immensely. 30 vigor allows you a lot of playroom in terms of survivability so you can take hits and practice dodges on the boss. Get some hp my guy.
Edit: vigor only boosts hp. No other stats.

You want at least 40 vigor by the time you reach the capital and 60 for endgame

If you die in one hit, it's probably because you don't have enough Vigour. That's a good general rule to follow, don't neglect your HP stat.

Go portal in a pond near church of Marika in limgrave (behind the church itself), then ride across the bridge with a dragon and behind the tree with an evil tree stump on legs (ride past both bosses) there is a tornado spring. Jump with it, you will see a huge white sleepy dragon. Hit it until it dies. Level vigor
