Golden Hippopotamus hard?
You want to tell me this boss is hard? Seriously? Before fight i spent all my runes to make sure i dont loose any of them and bam... It goes down first try! What i was expecting mega suffering like i did in base game fighting Crucible Knight at Stormhill Evergaol where on my first gameplay i died more than 170 times before learning you can parry him :)

Seriously ppl "get good and praise the message" :er_heart:

They fixed his hitbox, it was the same issue as with Gaius, now both are easy.

From what I read they only fixed The Golden Hippopotamus' hitbox and did nothing but move Gaius' start point

Honestly a hitbox fix already makes it easier if it was bigger than what it should according to its size, players may have been getting hit when they should not according to visuals (even tho it would not be a new thing, if it was not intended it "fixed the difficulty" of the boss).

They fixed it? Swear the ground pound still hits half the arena.

That is AoE shockwave not bad hitbox.

Aoe still has a hitbox attached to it, short of the transformation fight is meh in general.

The golden hippo was probably the easiest "major" boss in the DLC even before this supposed nerf. The only boss I would say is easier is Romina since by the time you get to her in the game you're almost guaranteed to be way higher level assuming you have bothered to explore at all.

He isn’t even a major boss though, pretty sure it’s optional.

Yes, I agree, Roomina is quite free boss even more when paired against Mesmer[/quote] that is so near her.

I can see Gaius' start point helping a good chunk of people..now you have time to summon/buff..I think I forgot to drink my physik fast once or twice and drank it while he was charging...but ultimately, for me...timing that roll while just watching him run at me for an eternity was a ♥♥♥♥♥..and starting the fight right away while just buffing outside of the fog gate will always be better.

Like I said, I think Gaius and Hippo starting area were nerfed just to give time for people who summon to summon

You saying the hippo wasn’t always in a sleeping position?

2 different bosses tho like the other knights in the lands between and on the DLC you just have to figure it by distance.
