Horsent Grandam help
I put the beast head on and she is still sleeping. I ended up finishing the game and went back to her. Still nothing. I then tried attacking her, still nothing. Is this a bug or did I screw the quest up so much I made her useless?

Thats just the end of her quest i believe.

At one point she basically mentions hows shes barely hanging there.

gotcha, she gave me the silent treatment the entire time. Surprised I couldn't attack her.

Yeah, you have to do her stuff before Messmer I believe.

I think she doesnt talk to you at all if you kill or even fight the Lion before meeting her.

Same issue. Beast head makes no difference. I beat Divine Beast and Rellana. DId beating Rellana break her questlline?

Nah, it's fine to talk to her after Divine Beast (that's how I did it on my 1st run).

I'm not sure about the cutoff point, you get her last reward by beating Messmer, so it would make sense for it to be the cutoff, I suppose?

Meeting her post-Divine Beast makes no difference. You have to wear the Divine Beast helmet for one of her rewards after all.

I killed her yesterday after Divine beast but I never spoke to her either got the stew and spell

meet her before the divine beast
wear the head when you meet her
rest and go talk to her again
all before messmer
