Shardbearers chronological order?
Is there a chronological order on which shardbearers do I need to defeat first before moving to another one? So far I've defeated Godrick and Rennala, which I've heard are often the first two shardbearers you need to defeat first. I searched around the internet and people said the next one is Radahn but some say it's Rykard so I'm a bit conflicted. This is my first Elden Ring playthrough and I'm kind of lost.

Though for Volcano Manor sidequest purposes: Rykard after Morgott.

Story wise though, Malenia comes before Mogh (due to Gideon's dialogue)

ALSO: Mohg and Malenia before Maliketh; Ofnir has rewards for beating the former two.
Yeah but Maliketh isnt a Shardbearer.

Btw, you can still get the rewards by buying them from the Twin Maidens if you did Maliketh first i believe.

Thanks guys! Based on everyone's replies, I'll try to go for Radahn next since I'm close to accessing his boss fight. I'll come back to this thread again to see which shardbearer I'll defeat next after Radahn, anymore replies are greatly appreciated.

Right now I already took out godrick, renalla, and radahn. I plan to take out morgott next. I heard rykard is in volcano manor, and patches said you can go there if you get captured by the iron maiden in raya lucaria, so there's that. I tried several times but the damn iron maiden never kill me with the capture attack, so I decide to go to morgott first.

But he IS a very important progression boss and a cutoff point for a few things. Hence the context I mentioned him in.
