I try to use Scarlet Aeonia when Radahn do a dive, where I can get at least a brief time to survive and get away after healling, then it is dodge and trying to use Black Blade to apply more damage whenever I can.
2 more Black Blade uses or 1 Scarlet Aeonia, all I needed but I had no more heal. (used Morgott great rune too)
Yeah it's debatable, other people tell me it's better to dodge towards his left side (against his initial swings), but I always get tagged by the light beams by dodging towards his left side. I never get hit by those light beams dodging towards his right side and I see no hit runners mirror the same notion as me. but I'm talking about radhan's pov, I technically dodge to the left from my pov.
Meteor dash - he rises into the sky and smash down on you in a dash. Usually his first attack. Don't dodge as he's approaching, you need to dodge much earlier. Dodge as he rises into the sky. Then do a dodge roll attack, followed by a heavy attack.
Meteors - he slams his blades on his right, your left on the ground, slashes into the air, rises into the ait and throws meteors at you. Not ez to dodge the slash if your near, but try to roll into his blades. Good chance you'll get caught by the slam or up slash. If you have got his tempo though, good chance you'll identify this and run off to escape, because his range is bad. Meteors just run away till he sends them down, at which run to the left or right, and jump before the first one hits.
Meteor suck - easy to mistake for meteor dash. Just start rolling away from him after he sucks you in. Minimal damage. It's better that you mistake his suck from his dash than the other way round, as the dash deals way more damage.
Mohg slash - 3 hit combo, throws sparks, slashes then explodes. The sparks and slash is just pure reaction time, and mash dodge into him. The explosion you have to wait a second then dodge, as it's a roll catch. So it's dodge, dodge, wait a sec, dodge. You can pull off a light roll attack, then he'll start another combo.
3 hit undodgable x slash combo - he slashes to each side, then does an x slash. The 2 individual slashes have low damage. Best thing to do is dodge the first hit, do a roll attack, get hit by the 2nd attack, lie on the ground and wait for the right time, then dodge into him for his 3rd x slash, and do a roll attack followed by a heavy.
Ballerina - he'll slash left and right, spin around while slashing, x slash the air above you, and sometimes do a ground slam - dodge the first 2 by mashing. Ballerina can be crouched under or you can try dodging, but timing is iffy. Damage is small, so doesn't matter. Just dodge the final air x slash, wait a bit to see if he does his his ground slam, then attack with a heavy.
Combo quake - he can start this raw or with a foot quake. He'll then slash from his right, left twice, then lift his swords high for a roll catch, slam it into a ground for an explosion, wait a tick then lift his swords up for a secondary explosion. All the slashes are mashable. Just wait for his first slam, roll into him, you should end up behind him. Based on your build, you might be able to do a roll attack, and only get lightly stunned for the 2nd quake, so you can pull off another heavy or 2. If not, just roll a tick after he slams to dodge the 2nd quake, and send a roll attack. His way.
Lion's claw - most telegraphed move ever. Only catch is he does it a 2nd time sometimes, so roll away, do a quick light, depending on your weapon, and see if he goes for a 2nd, but you can punish either way he goes.
If you want to heal, just run away. He's bad at catch up and will slash the air.
You should be able to beat him without touching your flasks at all, and start phase 2 by double tapping your flasks. Phase 2 is a whole different beast, but the first thing you do is either tap your flasks or do something that doesn't involve approaching him to bait him into his holy nuke, so you can pull of some damage as he rises, tank the explosion (remember to block, even a weapon block will reduce damage somewhat), flask again and hit him another few times.
