What could be Fromsoft's next game?

Miyazaki said that Elden Ring wasn't his best work and wants to make something even better, so I have a feeling the next game will be open world again. It will take atleast 3-5 years for this game to drop, but I have a suspicion that Bloodborne PC might be an actual thing before the next new IP drops. Or maybe open world bloodborne will be a thing, who knows... (I'm being delusional)

I hope so. While the open world is nice and all, less is more. I liked how it was in the souls series and bloodborne a lot more.

I prefer smaller and dense games so hopefully not an Elden Ring sequel. It's why I've yet to bother with a NG+ run, far too much ground to cover.

you could just speed through the main bosses for NG+ like I did, feels like a boss rush.

Even though I didn't like DS2 I think the bonfire ascetic system would be a pretty good fit for ER. Or maybe just a simple gauntlet option like Sekiro. I'll get round to NG+ at some point, it's just the open world format makes me less enthusiastic.

Speaking of, I hope they add an item that's been gone since Dks2 in their next Soulslike. Bonfire Ascetics. Say what you want about Dks2, but that item was an amazing idea and should have been kept for Dks3 and Bloodborne and then to ER.
