Lol I beat Radahn with a tank build
I saw some people say that Radahn was killing them in one or two hits. That definitely wasn't my experience, though to be fair I'm rarely not stacking some kind of damage reduction. Rather, I found Radahn to just have too much HP, especially since I'd summoned both Ansbach and Thiollier.

I tried a few different builds against Radahn, but the one that ultimately worked is the same build I used against Malenia: Great Stars with Prayerful Strike, Icon Shield in the left hand for the HP regen, heavy armor and damage reduction talismans, and a buff routine of Flask of Physick, Blessing of the Erdtree, Golden Vow, Black Flame's Protection, and Bloodflame Blade. I spent most of the fight spamming Prayerful Strike, occasionally taking a pause to drink an FP flask (sometimes an HP flask) and rebuffed once while my allies distracted him.

And it worked! Eventually. It was a little frustrating because it felt like it was a little too reliant on RNG. The problem is that Radahn is so fast and aggressive that it's difficult to plan any kind of tactics around him. A strategy that essentially boils down to monkey mashing ironically works best because it simply sidesteps the need to deal with his long and complex attack combos. I can't say I enjoyed this boss, as he seems to exemplify most of the aspects of DS3/ER boss design that I don't care for.

Strangely, tank builds in Souls games just don't seem to work very well. Guides for Fume Knight, for example, literally recommend taking off all your armor, and TBH I noticed little difference in the damage I took in that case. So I find it ironic that I've beaten some of the hardest bosses in Elden Ring using just such a build. It is definitely reliant on a number of factor, not the least of which are Prayerful Strike and the multitude of defensive buffs you can stack together.

Anyway, it kind of felt like there should have been something after the fight, but it's just a dead end. I watched Miquella's memory, got Ansbach's and Thiollier's items, and even visited St. Trina and got her flower. But I still feel like I'm missing something, like I should have gotten a credits roll or something. Is there anything more that I missed?

Nope. That's it. No refunds.

Its DLC not Elden Ring 2 why would they give you credits?

Okay maybe not a credits roll, but at least an NPC I can report back to in order to get some sense of finality to the story.

If you play through Ansbach & Thrioller questline then you'll realize that everyone is either practically killed by you & gone even st. trina, apparently you can travel back there to receive a hat from her rested body . Unless you expect Mohg or Radahn's soul to appear out of nowhere and give you praise like a pup.
