Storage Chest confusion.

So I'm on my 2nd play through and wondering what the point is to saving 5 to 10 of the same items from weapons to armor in the Chest.
I know that selling those items is worthless but it helps organize the chest.
Do most people do that? Or am I alone in this.
Clutter sucks when it's the same items in rows...

I typically sell any duplicate armor pieces and weapons (Save for a few that I may want to dual wield in a future run) to keep the clutter to a minimum.

I keep everything because I'm a hoarder. There is no right/wrong way about it though. It is just there if you need it to clean up what your carry with you. Use it as you will.

Yeah I think I've sold a few things I wanted but it doesn't matter since they were items I won't use.

Is it good to get to ng+ 7 or just ride it out on a 2nd to 3rd play through, if anyone knows?

Depends on if you want multiple characters of different builds.
In all the Soulsborne games I've not done anything above NG+2 because at that point I have all the items available.
If you want to challenge yourself and your build then go for it!

You can drop items for other people, or get items muled for new characters of yours, so keeping unique items people might want to use two of and rare drops are a good decision if those ideas hold any appeal for you.

Depends on how you like to play. Personally, I like going to new iterations of NG+ and challenging myself with different builds.
