Help with Seamless Co-op

Well as the title says i need some help with seamless co-op.

Recently some of my friends have been wanting to play in a larger group on Elden ring and they want to play Seamless Co-op. I installed the mod months ago and played it, it seemingly worked fine then the LITERAL next day it stops working, (It kept flagging me for cheating and wasn't using a separate save file and kept trying to use my normal characters)

I uninstalled the mods and played normal elden ring and no issues, so I've left it for months until now, but after i installed what i as far as i can tell is the latest version of the mod on nexus and tried the whole process again and it still doesn't work. But now it's giving me a connection error code and it's STILL trying to use my normal elden ring characters. Does anyone know a fix for this PLEASE

you gotta launch the game from the ERSC launcher file in your game folder, can't launch it through steam if you're playing modded

I tried this and it still comes up some issues, i even streamed my game for a buddy to watch to make sure i did it all right and still same issue
