Promised Consort Radahn need a serious nerf
It's very annoying when a boss forces you to stop play Souls game after him, it's a really exhausting battle to play.
Why I have 20 level of Scadutree and take 2-shot by a boss? I have like 65% physical defense.

I am really good at this fight and it definitely needs nerfs. Most of the people saying it doesn't A) use shields, B) aren't good enough to realize how flawed the fight is.

Only if Isshin had a flashbang that he deploys every chance he gets to blind the player

I use the carian shield exclusively for this fight and it's still a slog

It's a fight for a game with different mechanics. Deflecting Hardtear makes him bearable, but way too many anime antics in phase 2 lol

I think the fight is more or less fine in this game, it just needs to be tuned pretty heavily. If they are going to make it so the only way to dodge the cross slash combo is to dodge left, they need to make it so you can't get stuck on the boss model so easily when dodging left. They need to make the second swing come out faster by a couple of frames or at least one frame so that it's not such an unreasonable dodge, or maybe just fix the hitboxes of his weapons so they aren't over 10x the volume of his sword model.

Then they should also make it so he doesn't do that combo unless you are melee range, because it is impossible to dodge if he initiates it from range. Yet his moveset forces him to create space you cannot close within the window available and he often just runs up and does that combo from an impossible to avoid range.

As someone who is really good at the fight, that and maybe creating a little bit more space between the boss model and the light pillars on certain attacks(like the cross slash combo in phase 2, the pillars spawn way too close), the boss would be fine.

I also think they should tone down the terrain's height variability. It doesn't even look cool, it's just annoying and makes me upset with the devs for trying to put appearances before gameplay. If it didn't impact the gameplay so heavily, yeah maybe it'd look cool. What it does is take me out of the experience and bothered that they would be so inept.

The wonky hitboxes, crazy framedrops, and combos coming out of combos are what bug me.
