Cheating a key item for a questline. Am I at risk of being banned?

Apparently, I ran into a glitch where an NPC doesn't give you a key item necessary to progress an other NPC's questline.

I was thinking of using cheats to give myself that item and continue the quest.

What do I risk?

If you're offline (as In EAC all the way off) then you're safe once you go back online.

You risk a 180 day suspension, if caught.

What item, NPC, and quest? Just curious. Sometimes these games can screw you over if you do things out of order.

Also, my guess is you'd prolly get banned if you take the item back online. I don't really know though.

Spoilers for Shadow of the Erdtree: In the Shadowkeep, I gave Ansbach the Secret Rite Scroll and talked to Lady Leda before finding Freya further ahead. Then, I helped Ansbach rather then Leda, when she invades him.

This specific course of events glitches the quest and prevents you from obtaining Ansbach's Letter for Freyja.

I am blind in the DLC and don't know what happens next with Freya and would like to find out without having to finish the game with an other character or having to search online :/
