a connection error occured, returning to the title screen?

dude fix this ♥♥♥♥ already, i do co-op and invasions a lot and it makes the game unplayable ffs, only like one out of three connection attempts go thru, rest i just watch the damn menu screen

Same old Inappropriate Activity bug, just renamed. Who knows if or when it will ever be fixed. I would not hold my breath.

Same here. Before the last patch I had a lot of that "Inappropriate activity detected" bug, without any kind of cheat. Now it's this "A connection error occurred". I just beat Miquella, man. I need PVP or i'll drop the game. lmao

U can drasticly reduce the issue by not running background programs such as discord , why? U know that nice thing discord has where it shows people ur playing Elden Ring? There u have it.
I never run disc on pc and i had the issue twice total (since dlc release)

You do no simply reduce the frequency. It crashes randomly when summoned or invading.

All i do is play co op , i think just the dlc has over 200 hours now for me and it only happend twice total , if it was the actual server or EAC or whatnot , this should have happend more frequently , hence i am sure it has to do with junk on ppls pc or external software running in the background (i run nothing but windows defender and nvidia in background)

its because of slow network for you or other player... in short dont play co-op and you will not get invaded ... single player game after all

verify game files and do a command prompt to fix windows files is the rec way of helping this error caused by last patch
