Goofing with Hoslow whips, PvE only mind you

Well I had two of them and a readily available soul farming spot so now they're +24

Managed to beat Mohg with the stupid things, first time player here mind you, so maybe they're not so bad? Got them lightning spec at the moment since that seemed to work best for the swords I was using and I'm still mostly using those.

What are the thoughts on these whips?

i really like them and use them on my whip guy. frost enchanted for most of the game, i think i switched them to lightning for radagon/elden beast and i currently have them as fire for scadutree avatar.

swapped one out for the tooth whip for a short time but wasn't noticing the poison ever and the frost/bleed was taking longer to proc so i switched back. still like the tooth whip though, just liked dual-petal whip better.

The petal whip is very good, yes. They're particularly fantastic for Bleed-centric builds. If you get some decent Arcane, I would give them Bleed or Occult infusions to maximize that.

I should do more dual-whip builds myself actually. They're pretty fun.

The Urumi is just plain awesome and probably the best whip. For a not "special" weapon it looks amazing all together with superb scaling.

Hmm you know? Since Elden Ring just have a seven whips we can lie to ourselves and consider the mercury looking Nox hammer and sword whips......
