(FIXED) Stuck in a death save, please help

Hoping someone can help me.
I was attempting to get the Bloodhound Fang, on my first attempt I died (obviously) but the game crashed after the death scene.
After loading my save my character dies again and the game crashes.
Is there some find of fix for this or have I lost 14 hours of game time?

I have tried reinstalling the game and my other character loads up fine.

my specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core
32GB DDR4 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
Samsung SSD 980 1TB NVMe
Windows 11

It may not help, but the first step is always to try verifying your files through Steam.

Just tried this and it is still the same unfortunately

Could be a corrupted savefile.
Last options to test is a fresh install of the game to be sure the files are 100% ok and set all ingame settings to minimum.

If you look up “elden ring death loop fix” the first post,was Reddit for me, has a fix for it,but it seems fairly precise, best of luck!

fresh install didn't work.
I checked my GPU drivers were up to date and there was a new one to install.
Installed that and I reset my PC and it seems to have fixed it.

Strange that you got only at this death animation a crash. I take it to the list of possible problems, related to a broken gpu driver installation.
