Radahn vs Malenia
I know this is an old conversation, but who do you think won between Radahn and Malenia in the cinematic? I personally think it was Radahn, but please feel free to argue with me on this.

Radahn obviously, he wasn't the one getting his ass carried back home.

Honestly I don't know how many ways I can say that Malenia is alive and Radahn is essentially dead by the time we meet them.

It's stated multiple times in the game that Malenia lost and had to resort to using the Aeonia.

Malenia had to bio-nuke all of Caelid, and still couldn’t kill Radahn. Radahn was holding back the stars as well, and Malenia couldn’t even beat him without using the Scarlet Aeonia. Radahn is also referred to as the “Mightiest Demigod of the Shattering,” so he is well known for being stronger than all his Demi-siblings, including Malenia.

Malenia's simps will argue it was "accidental" but Millicent's dialogue clearly proves otherwise:
"There is something I must return to Malenia.
The will that was once her own.
The dignity,
the sense of self,
that allowed her to resist the call of the scarlet rot.

The pride she abandoned,
to meet Radahn's measure."

She's essentially saying that Malenia's pride would've dictated winning by her sword skills, using her true power was her abandoning her pride.

She's condeming Malenia's actions, dooming the entirety of Caelid to try and kill Radahn. I don't see how you can read it any other way.

Genuinely, I don't see how anyone can say that a General losing his entire realm and being reduced to a zombie is a win, Radahn legit lost everything in that fight, his people, his cities, his region and himself, I can understand arguing it was a draw, since Finley carried Malenia away, but a win for Radahn? Come on now.

I don't even like Malenia, but this Radahn riding is insane man.

Before the dlc I would’ve said Malenia won hands down - Malenia would (and does when we fight her) make a full recovery after the fight, while Radahn was clearly not going to recover from the damage that the rot had done

After the dlc though, it seems more a bit reasonable to argue Radahn won assuming his objective was just to survive. he seemed to want to avoid dying at all costs in order to avoid being resurrected as Miquella’s consort

That said, imo it’s still a loss for Radahn - since he didn’t kill Malenia, she’s bound to wake up at some point and return to finish the job when he’s in a weakened state.

malenia went for a ''suicide attack'' and failed to kill radahn, if finlay wasn't there malenia would have been pancaked... so radahn won for me

after some time malenia is in better shape sure... but that doesn't change the fact that she goofed on the battlefield and had to be saved.

plus radahn is still technically alive so.... claiming that as a victory is like an old boxer saying he won a match where he got his ass kicked because 20 years later his opponent has brain damage and he doesn't

Malenia wanted to kill Radahn in order to send his soul to the Realm of Shadow. Radahn was just defending himself because he didn't want that, so Malenia lost the fight there. You can argue who had worse side effects but that really doesn't matter.

We clearly see in the cinematic trailer that Malenia is on her knees, re-attaching her arm (hmmm I wonder how it came off in the first place), and blood trickling down her face.

We also see Radhan standing above her with his arms crossed, no visible damage, and seemingly waiting for her to make the next move with a major "huh, that's it?" aura. He picks up his swords only after Malenia re-attaches her arm and willfully chooses to continue the fight, implying that he was either giving her the option to surrender, or simply that he's an honorable guy.

Who do you think was winning?

Obviously radahn, malenia tried to kill him so miquella could use him in the shadow realm thing where the shadow of the erdtree dlc takes place. And she failed at that. The tarnished had to finish the job.
So yeah she failed her mission, big L very dumb.

I've been offering this piece of evidence since day 1 and people still don't want to believe it lol smh.

When she says "to meet Radahn's measure," she's quite literally saying "to get on his level." Because she wasn't originally. She abandoned her pride and did the dumbest thing imaginable just for a shot at winning, when the narrator clearly says that no one won at the end.

Just going off their powers alone for each demigods,
Radahn: considered the strongest demigod and studied gravitational magic for his horsey.
Malenia: presumably blind, easily parried, uses a dex weapon, rotting, amputee and nudist/foot fetishist.

Obviously Radahn won.

IIRC the demigods were a level below Empyreans in terms of strength and power.

So the fact that Radahn, a demigod, was giving Malenia, and Empyrean, a run for her money is kinda insane. Dude was on an entirely different level.
