Is it possible to download a save file and play with it? I want to start at level 150 but it's hard for me to collect all these items again to build. Is it safe to download a file from the sites?

I downloaded the 125 and the 150 save file to play through the DLC on a character not on NG+5.
Put about 80 hours on combined and haven't had a problem

Make sure to follow the steps with the save manager too.

Where did you download it from? I've played about 1000 hours and am now at level 713

To me downloading a savegame from an unknown person it's a 50/50. Even on Nexus you are not safe so... at your own risk. You can ask a friend if he/she can share a character and try with that or just create a new character if you want to stay safe at 100%.
