The sad life after finishing the DLC.
I just finished Elden Ring, did a very complete and meticulous run, checked every corner, played a lot of PvP, killed every single enemy at least once.

And today I was browsing YouTube and saw this video, and it pretty much shows how I feel.
Sad, happy, nostalgic, Idk, I'm a 40 year old man who never felt like this since my teenage years, it gives me butterflies just to remember.

Once in a lifetime experience and I feel sad that I'll probably never feel this way again.
Elden Ring helped me go through the grief of losing my father, made me feel young again.
Thank you Elden Ring I loved every aspect of it, you made me laugh, cry, rage, and feel happy.

Check the video guys, sometimes I join the game just to sit and watch the view.
Sad..

Have you tried any of the other souls games? Sekiro? Highly recommend. Sorry for your loss. Hugs

Yeah, pretty much all of them. First souls was DS3. But Elden Ring is something else, I don't know how to explain the feeling.. Game is GOAT
Grats.
Just beat Radahn with no scud fragments and after getting my ass handed to me (one shots throughout), it just felt so anticlimactic. There's a remembrance of Miquella? Ok. Picked up Ansbach's and Thiollier's stuff and it just felt so final.

Elden ring did the same thing to me. That feeling you got when you played your first great RPG as a child which never felt the same again.

Only thing to do is to hope and wait for something similar to happen again and again. Maybe another 20+ years and we can experience something like that again lol.. you are not alone. A lot of us share this sentiment :)
