Sword choice
I'm standing in front of master Hewg at the hold, ready to spend my somber smithing stones, but I have a hard choice between the Meteoric Blade, the Carian Knight Sword and the Crystal Sword. I'm planning a mostly Int build with only a modest Str investment. I've been using the Uchigatana with Gravitas and I like it a lot, and actually that is a fourth choice which at +9 looks much better than the others... But of course, I don't know what the others might look like at +9. Besides it uses common smithing stones so I could go on investing on it and save the somber stones for a staff. Suggestions?

I would avoid the Crystal Sword as it's not particularly powerful, and doesn't have much reach as far as straight swords go.

Both the other options are fine, pick the one with the moveset/feel you like the most. Moonveil is another option for an int Katana. You can also Magic-infuse a longsword if you like the Carian Knight Sword moveset but don't like the AoW.

Crystal Sword is not worth it.

Maybe Meteoric Blade would be best, especially if you like Uchigatana.

Thanks. I'll go with the Meteoric.
EDIT: Regarding the magical Uchi, at +9 it is inferior to a +4 Meteoric, so that question is settled.

That's because the Uchigatana goes up to +25, while the Meteoric to +10

Oh then I'll hold on to it to see how it goes.
