Steam Deck this game should not be deck approved
This game especially in the DLC runs like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, one of the biggest reasons I got my deck was for Elden Ring on the go and it barely can manage 30 fps which is unacceptable. Scaddutree avatar drops to 25 making the fight impossible.

This game should be listed as playable, not steam deck approved.

And no tweaking settings does not help, this game is NOT optimized for deck as advertised

Heh. Elden Ring is not optimized for anything. Have to question claims about products that a company has a vested interest in sounding good.

Unrealistic to expect them to say "Our product runs like crap. Please buy it anyway!".

Have to question the integrity and professionalism of a company that says that in order for the game to run well, you have to disable your mouse software! What . . . The . . . F?

as far as I know, base game runs fine, and 30 FPS is considered fine for Steam Deck. as for the expansion, I can imagine the Deck struggling, since I get drops down to 50 on a desktop PC with an RX 6800, but the "verified" rating was issued before SOTE was even rumor. that's actually an ongoing issue with the rating system, since games get updated and changed all the time, and the ratings often don't reflect the their current state.

I do not expect some games to run as well as a game on a PC, because could only cram so much tech into a little device and you cannot update certain specs like you can on a PC. I can play at 30 FPS on the deck.

Yeah as they add more and more the specs may evolve as well. I haven't tried it yet but may give it a go and 30 FPS on the deck is okay for me.

Steam deck isn't meant to get anything more than 30fps from most games. ER runs fine for me, with a stable 36.

around 30 fps for the base game but the DLC runs like a powerpoint, it's unplayable.

every single game I have including dark souls 3, sekiro, fallout 4, among many others gets 60 fps. elden ring should hit at least 45 at low settings, you cant even get good fps at LOW settings.

unacceptable, it should be changed to "playable" or "unsupported" period.

30 FPS is unplayable.

To anyone considering purchasing a Steam Deck for Elden Ring, DON'T DO IT.
