Seamless COOP + Convergence compatibility

Recently, my friend managed to get the Elden Ring Convergence mod to work on his computer again after months of it just crashing. We used to be able to play it together using Seamless COOP, but now that both mods have been updated to the DLC, all the old methods for making the 2 mods work together have failed.

Does anyone have a fix or a method to make the 2 mods work again?

After every game update the mods have to be updated to work again properly.

Both mods have been updated for the DLC. I was able to access the realm of shadow with my friend using Seamless, and Convergence now has Shadow Runes located in the DLC. The main issue is all the methods of making them work together have since become unusable due to updates to both.

So I’ve spent some time trying to figure this problem out myself but I just can’t figure it out. Anyone know what to do?

convergence requires modengine 2 right?

if so you need to change the 14th line in the elden ring .toml to refrence the new dll that comes with the co-op mod (and perhaps the convergence mod?)

"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\...ersc.dll" (line 13 provides examples if that isn't clear enough)

yada yada yada keep going till its location, thats what i have to do for the randomizer.

The discord for convergence has a faq for seamless setup I think. Asking there or referencing that is probably your best bet.

Note: the most recent patch for ER is not the one the current convergence patch was made for. Supposedly it's fine for the mod but I have no idea how that could impact seamless in addition.
