Any tips for using twinblades in pvp?

Shreds bosses perfectly fine which is great for co-op, but I'm trying out pvp and cant seem to land successive hits without trading or getting interrupted before a chain attack. I'm running 64 poise and 2H

as for me, they aren't this efficient in pvp due to their range. switch to longer weapons imo

If you want to use them, you need to poise stack and you need an ash of war with hyper armor so you can threaten trades. I'm talking full bullgoat or solitude set + bullgoat talisman type of poise. The best twinblades are the helix for the running R2 and elonoras pole for the poise and surprise ash of war that can insta kill players who let their guard down sometimes. Also they both (can) have bleed, which I think is really helpful for twinblades.

That's honestly a bummer for me. I was really wanting to avoid full bullgoat and using bleed builds this run. I respec'd into a build for Euporia and found it pretty fun but elonoras is just too good. What do you mean by helix? Also would it be better to powerstance or stick with the 2h?

They are somewhat decent at lower levels because they have higher buff motion values and therefore hit very hard with fixed buff value ashes but other than that, not really. Still, you can do same invasion shenanigans with say blackflame using them, they have a good ash selection. Eleonora yes, but still pretty much weapon skill spam.
