'Bonus Gesture' on Steam Properties But Not In Game

Hey all,
I pre-ordered the collector's edition of SotE and when I rc->properties->DLC, I can see an entry called 'ELDEN RING Bonus Gesture' installed on 2/22... However my characters do not have the gesture. I did get the gesture when cooping, so I know other people have it... Anyone know what to do? I checked my email thinking maybe it was a code, but I don't see anything...
In the steam DLC options you can check and uncheck items; I tried unchecking and re-checking the bonus gesture dlc, but no luck.

Both The Ring and Ring of Miquella are just granted to a new character. If you already had one, like I did for the DLC, you need to beat a boss with a cooperator who also has it. I don't know if that was intentional, but just starting the DLC with an older character never actually gave it to me. Only brand new characters.

I got it on an existing character instantly when loading that save.

I also only got it when I started a new character, but my old character never got it until co-oping with someone else.

I've started a new character, but he still doesn't have the gesture. ;_;
