Am I supposed to be able to...
beat Radahn and/or Rykard on lvl 46 and with a +13 Knight's Greatsword and a shield? I sometimes also use the Spirit Jelly (+3)

And if not, what are other options I could do instead? I have beaten Rennala and have also pretty much cleared Limgrave and Liurnia aside some optional dungeons. Right now I can't decide which region I am supposed to do. Caelid or Mt. Gelmir / Altus Plateau. Long story short: I am kinda lost.

I appreciate any tips or suggestions. Please don't spoiler any story elements if possible. And Thanks in advance.

Usually level 50-60 for both of them, you should do western and south caelid first then altus and mt gelmir. You can get your weapon upgraded much higher before altus

You could, although I wouldn't recommend Rykard at that level, it should be Limgrave -> Liurnia -> Caelid -> Altus/Mt. Gelmir in my opinion

You’re technically supposed to beat Rykard with a gimmick weapon that you pick up in his arena

This. He's one of those setpiece bosses. Kinda fun too. They learned their lesson from Yhorm and Stormruler.

But generally yes. You should be in a good position to do it if you've been thorough with exploration and looting.
