occult build

ok so i was not satisfied with the dex faith build, i realized i am not that big fan of constantly buffing the weapons with spells etc, but since i am already leveling the naginata i searched a bit and found people doing spectral lance builds with it, can you give me some advice how to do a nice bleed / spectral lance build with the naginata as my main weapon?

just put occult on your naginata and you are done? and make your arcane to 80?

if you use occult you dont need to, just make sure you are meeting the requirement

if you want more status build up use bleed infusion, if you want more raw damage use occult, it's a trade off. But for going to DLC i reccomend bleed infusion more

oh another question, the only weapon right now i can use as occult is the naginata, what do i need to infuse other wepons with occult? ( totally forgot these details)

occult only works with spears?

If you have the black whetblade you can infuse anything with occult as long as you have a compatible ash of war (most ash of wars should work).
